Backyard Fountains Images | The first experience I had building a chicken coop was when I was much younger. I was known during my family because the chicken catcher, because I would chase the chickens around until they were too tired to operate from me anymore. I had considerably more patience than anybody else during my family, not to mention more energy. So automatically, I became the main one in control of looking after family members chickens.
Before I had built the chicken coop, we’d maintain the chickens in the barn. During the day they’d roam across the farm yard. At the end of the day a lot of the chickens would wander back in the barn, but there are always the few stragglers that could end up in trouble. It was my job to round them up. A lot of times chickens would just disappear too. This was usually because of natural predators hunting for a snack. That is when I decided that building a chicken coop was necessary.
I started off with no sort of chicken coop designs. I just figured I would grab many of the old spare wood which was always all over and build a frame of some kind with chicken wire around it. The first attempt was crude nevertheless it was very practical. Later I built a chicken house for that chickens to put eggs in. This was really when I realized just how much easier this became making playing. I spent a shorter time running around chasing chickens plus much more time doing the items I wanted to perform. I found that gathering the eggs was significantly less hassle too. My mother began expecting a regular delivery of eggs, while before we had been just happy to gather up a few every now and then to own in the morning. We actually started having more eggs compared to what we actually needed, so we did start to share all of them with our relatives and neighbors.
