No Grass Backyard Ideas | The first experience I had building a chicken coop was when I was much younger. I was known within my family since the chicken catcher, because I would chase the chickens around until these were too tired to run from me anymore. I had a lot more patience than anyone else within my family, as well as more energy. So automatically, I became normally the one responsible for looking after your family chickens.
Before I had built the chicken coop, we’d keep the chickens in the barn. During your day they will roam round the farm yard. At the end of your day a lot of the chickens would wander back in the barn, but there were always the few stragglers that will get into trouble. It was my job to round them up. A lot of times chickens would certainly disappear too. This was usually due to natural predators trying to find a snack. That is when I decided that building a chicken coop was necessary.
I began with no sort of chicken coop designs. I just figured I would grab a number of the old spare wood that has been always all over and build a frame of some sort with chicken wire around it. The first attempt was crude but it was very practical. Later I built a chicken house for that chickens to lay eggs in. This was really when I realized the amount easier this was making my life. I spent less time caught chasing chickens plus much more time doing the points I wanted to accomplish. I found that gathering the eggs was much less hassle too. My mother began expecting a daily delivery of eggs, where by before i was just very happy to gather up a couple of every now and then to own for breakfast. We actually started having more eggs than what we actually needed, and we all did start to share all of them with our relatives and neighbors.
