Pinterest Backyard Patio | The first experience I had constructing a hen house was when I was much younger. I was known inside my family because chicken catcher, because I would chase the chickens around until these folks were too tired to perform from me anymore. I had a lot more patience than someone else inside my family, let alone more energy. So by default, I became the main one responsible for taking good care of the household chickens.
Before I had built the hen house, we may maintain the chickens inside the barn. During the day they’d roam across the farm yard. At the end of the day a lot of the chickens would wander back inside the barn, but there have been always the few stragglers that would end up in trouble. It was my job to round them up. A lot of times chickens would likely disappear too. This was usually due to natural predators hunting for a snack. That is when I decided that constructing a hen house was necessary.
I started off without sort of hen house designs. I just figured I would grab a number of the old spare wood that has been always laying around and build a frame of some kind with chicken wire around it. The first attempt was crude but it was very practical. Later I built a chicken house to the chickens to get eggs in. This was really when I realized the amount of easier this became making my life. I spent a shorter time seen chasing chickens plus more time doing the points I wanted to accomplish. I found that gathering the eggs was much less hassle too. My mother began expecting an everyday delivery of eggs, when before we had arrived just pleased to gather up a few here and there to have enjoying. We actually started having more eggs than we actually needed, so we began to share them with our relatives and neighbors.
